The Honorable Mike DeWine
Ohio Attorney General
30 E. Broad St., 14th Floor
Columbus, OH 43215

Dear Attorney General,

On behalf of the group leaders, members and citizens represented by the names below, we write to urge your office to join our Great State of Ohio in the Federal Lawsuit filed by the State of North Carolina and joined by the State of Texas, against the Federal Department of Justice.  We ask you to do this to prevent the DOJ’s “radical reinterpretation” of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments adopted in 1972, and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 which is intended to deny women and children in Ohio with the right to privacy in the bathroom, locker room and shower that they have long enjoyed.

While we respect the right of all Americans, so called “transgendered rights” are not absolute and should not trump other citizen’s constitutional rights of privacy, free expression, or religious freedom. As Governor McCrory’s complaint observes, North Carolina’s law attempts to strike a balance between these competing rights and interests by providing accommodations in public facilities for transgendered individuals. But this balance is not what the Department of Justice wants to secure. Instead, it wants transgender rights to trump all other rights claims.

The text of Title VII (42 U.S.C. § 2000e) prohibits discrimination in employment on the basis of an individual’s “race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.” This statute was enacted by Congress and signed by the president. Title VII says nothing about gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Nevertheless, the Department of Justice, purportedly enforcing Title VII, alleges that “sex” as used in the statute should be interpreted to include one’s chosen “gender identity.” Thus, according to the Department of Justice’s interpretation, conditioning access to public restrooms, locker rooms, and prisons on the basis of one’s biological sex markers (such as male genitalia) is discrimination on the basis of gender identity, which is tantamount to discrimination on the basis of sex in violation of Title VII. In the words of the governor’s complaint, this is a “radical reinterpretation of Title VII.” Who could disagree? Sex is not gender and gender is not a protected class. Congress has been clear on that topic.

Furthermore, as Robert McFarland from the Witherspoon Institute points out, the Tenth Amendment continues to reserve powers to the states unless they are enumerated among federal powers. Thus, the most fundamental question regarding the legality of the Department of Justice’s demands is simply this: what enumerated power allows you to demand that the governor of the state of North Carolina, or Ohio, cease and desist enforcement of North Carolina’s laws? What constitutional authority allows the Obama administration to tell North Carolina or any state that it must allow individuals to enter restrooms on the basis of their chosen gender identity rather than on the basis of their biological reality? Let alone that every school in the United States, including Ohio, must allow this radical revocation of women’s rights!

It is clear, that Ohio must defend it’s Constitutional rights and the individual rights of our women and children. There is an intent in this action by President Obama and the radical leftist in his administration, not to protect transgender rights which were not an issue before this action, but to create a divisive issue and a new victim class in order to promote their anti-american agenda. We must not be bullied by our Federal Government and we must take immediate action to defend our individual rights. It is your duty as our legal representative in such matters to take decisive action on our behalf. We ask you as Attorney General of Ohio to join the suit immediately and to encourage other state Attorneys General to follow your lead.

It is time to end the Corruption in the Ohio “Republican” Party

We are going Restore OUR Republican Party!

The Ohio “Republican” Party has been taken over by political operatives who sell the votes of “Republican” Politicians in the Ohio House and Senate, and in the US House and Senate, to monied special interests who want political favors.  You have NO Representation in Government, because the Ohio “Republican” Party only recruits and funds campaigns for phony “Republicans” who agree to do what the lobbyists tell the Party Leadership to do.

ORPBetrayedUS

The Ohio “Republican” Party State Central Committee only endorses incumbent “Republicans”. The Ohio “Republican” Party has no platform and does not require candidates to prove that they believe the Republican values and principles that we believe. They simply “rent” the “R” to the highest bidder and when you go to the polls to vote, you think that you are voting for a Republican when you are not. That is why 66% of all Republican votes believe that the “Republican” Leadership has “Betrayed” them. Because they have!

What are we going to do about it?

To “Restore” OUR Republican Party, we need to take back control of the County and State Central Committees. Then we can recruit and endorse only candidates who prove that they will vote or govern according to Republican values and principles when they are elected. The Ohio Citizens PAC along with other TEA Party and Conservative Organizations in the State have recruited 55 candidates to run for the 66 seats on the Republican State Central in an effort to win a majority and replace the current Chairman. We need you to vote for them in your Senate District and let everyone you know that they need to vote for them as well!

Time to DEMAND Answers!

It’s Time to Demand Accountability!

It is high time for you to demand some answers from the members of the State Central Committee who have been endorsing candidates who are not Republicans and who have used the power of the state to destroy our nation. The people on this Central Committee have given you people like John Boehner, John Kasich and Rob Portman. All of whom talked a good conservative game, but when it was time for action, they were total liberals on immigration, medicade expansion, natural marriage, raising the debt ceiling, common core and so much more.

The people resonsible for not only allowing those phony Republicans and so many more in our House and Senate and other offices to be on the ballot, but often for making sure that they are the only choices you had on the ballot are on this list below. They are responsible for your anger about being betrayed by “Republicans” you have elected and you need to hold them responsible!

It’s Time to Start Asking Questions and Demand Answers!

So, I want you to call the representative from your Senate District, or send them an email, or confront them in person and ask them these five questions:

1) Have you personally made it clear that you demand that the Ohio Republican Party  adopt the National Republican Party Platform so that the State Central Committee would have a standard by which to judge both incumbent and potential candidates?

2) Do you or anyone in your family get paid by any government agency? Does this affect the way that you vote on State Central Committee?
(We are investigating this and will expose those who do not tell you the truth.)

3) Are you a Convention Delegate for John Kasich and if so did you vote to endorse him as a member of the State Central Committee? If so, why did you not think that you had a conflict of interest in doing so, and why do you think that it was fair not  to have any other Republican Presidential Candidate considered for endorsement by the Ohio “Republican” Party?

4) Would you vote to change the ORP By-Laws so that you are no longer restricted to only endorsing incumbents, and could instead endorse the best Republican?

5) Would you vote to replace the current ORP Chairman, Matt Borges?

Call these people, and ask them these questions. Right now, you need contact your Representative and make it clear that you are NOT happy with how the Ohio “Republican” Party is run. Make sure that they understand that you know that they are responsible for allowing that to happen and you want it fixed.
